Iron recommendations?

Hey girlies. My iron took a nose dive today onto my ceramic tile floor. Nothing broke, or so I thought. I went to iron something and I hear a scraping sound. I looked at the triangle part of my iron and there was a HUGE gash My poor baby. LOL. So, now I need to get a new one. Can anyone recommend a nice on that I am not going to spend a 100 bucks on? DH would kill me otherwise. Thanks so much!!!

Well since you said not $100, how about $60-ish? I recommend the Rowenta's and you can get them at Joann's, although I think they were on sale last weekend. There was a huge thread about irons the other week, so you might want to do a search for Rowenta, as I'm sure others had recommendations for irons besides that brand.

Personally, if not Rowenta, I would just look for a nice, heavy iron.

LOL Meagan, I was thinking the same thing. I've read good reviews of Black & Decker (?) irons too.

Here's a link to that thread. It was really helpful for me. I wound up getting a Rowenta at Costco for around $70.
