Not a gored skirt sns- hot g'mama modeling!
This is a skirt I made for my mom for her birthday. I made her show the slit! She's a hottie isn't she? I'm pleased with how it came out- especially for my first skirt ever! All the pieces of the gored skirts are scaring me. It's a KSES pattern with JA embroidered linen. I like the skirt better with the white top but she wants me to make her a matching blouse. I'm thinking that something that buttons down the front would be best. Any suggestions?

I hope I look half that good as a grandma
Your skirt compliments her figure quite nicely, too

I just made my mom a gored skirt from the exact same fabric this week. I made her KS 3303 for a blouse to go with it. Really easy blouse to make.
Your mom is beautiful!

Thanks! I'm going to look up that pattern. I sooo need an easy to make pattern. Can you believe that my mom is 68 years old?
Edited b/c I put down the wrong age!

Love the skirt, what a pretty fabric! I agree with you about the white top looking better, btw.

I was thinking about using that one but it seemed kinda blah. Then again, something simple would be best with such a busy fabric. I probably will go with it.
