I don't have that machine, I have an Artista 165E, but I love my Bernina. My mom loves her Bernina, she's about to get the new Aurora 440E quilting one. They sew beautifully. One thing, I went to look at the brochure at www.berninausa.com and it doesn't have an automatic buttonhole, which I use a lot.

Shelly, I don't have that model but I do have the year before which is Virtuosa 155. I paid $1,100 for the floor model and really love it. The only negative is that you have to keep the bobbin case super clean, it's very finicky. I clean mine every time I use it. Also, the feet are quite pricey too so you might want to look into that as well. I also have a Artista 180E and love that machine too. It's important to have a good dealer that will do service and repairs on site, check out there warranty service too. Mine came with two years of service and warranty is much longer, can't remember off hand. Anyhow, I think your probably getting a good price on the machine they also retain their values so it's a big plus, check out ebay to give you an idea. Check out the Bernina Credit card they sometimes have specials that defer your payments for 6mo or 1yr. HTH
