sns for my daughter! dress, kerchief and orgami purse

my 10yo went to our district fashion show through 4H with this dress she made. This past week she also made a kerchief to wear with it and a large version of an orgami purse. she picked each of the fabrics herself. I thought it was a little too much, but she loves it! btw, she got "the lowest of lows... participant" to quote my daughter. but she had a great time and that's what was most important!

This is my 13yo cousin with the purse she made for the accessories competition at the fashion show. pattern from sew young, sew fun.

Your dd looks so lovely in her dress. I think she did a wonderful job. The dress is a great fit and all the flowers are so pretty. The accessories are equally impressive.

Aw, I think she did a great job. Tho, I admit, *I* wouldn't have picked so many different flowery prints either, lol, but Megan might.........

I think your dd did a wonderful job. It looks like a perfect fit. And on the gathering. Some of the mamas on here are afraid of gathering. LOL

The first thing I noticed was the gathering too - wow! I'm impressed that she tackled such a big and multi-faceted project, that deserves big kudos. She has beautiful eyes. Such a lovely young lady
