these are for my friend's 5yo, who is undergoing chemo and radiation, and her sisters.
first, I couldnt get the quilt binding corners to be *perfect*, not even really *pretty* BUT, I think they're OK
of the fabric i had left over i wanted to make the girls things that would "match" the quilt
abi already has a buzz cut, her twin had to have one too and the other girls will likely do the same, perhaps once school lets out. soooo, I made some kercheifs to protect their heads from the sun.
well, I wanted to make a "lovie" for each of the other girls. Something nice to snuggle against and call it a "prayer lovie" to remind them to pray for their sister. BUT, I didnt have much of two of the fabrics left and when I sewed it to the fleece - well.... it looked like a perfect "mama pad"! that wouldnt do!!!! so, folded it, sewed it and ended up with:

PURSES! lol when you open the flap of the purse there is a my little pony under it!
this is what I was busy doing the end of last week - I know, probably should have taken more time off from sewing, right? i just couldnt! lol besides, Isaac is still in the sleeps alot phase and i took advantage of that.
