Woven toddler swing top
Pattern recommendation or tips on how to modify a KSFT pattern? I would like to make a sleeveless swing top with buttons down the front. I want Miss A to be able to wear by itself or with a t-shirt underneath.

can you do snaps? tiny buttons are hard for tiny fingers just a suggestion. As for a pattern do you have a swing top pattern? can you just add to the middle (fold) for a placket

Thanks Angela. That is a good idea. I would prefer snaps but have to do button b/c I don't have a snap press. Maybe I will get one for Mother's Day -- I have been hinting. =)
Try the snapsource.com These are the snaps I use for clothing they are wonderful. I have a snap press but don't use it for clothing because of the bulk.

It's a plastic applicator that you purchase online, I think it's around $9. I've had mine a long time so I'm not sure if the price is different now. I use a regular hammer from our garage and just whack it a couple of times, works like a charm. It's very different than the snap applicators at JA's. The snaps come in different colors and sizes to match (pastels, brights and dark shades). The quality is excellent and makes for a very professional look. I really like it a lot and use it in place of buttons on many items.

How often do you have a dud? I borrowed my friends and 1 out 3 wouldn't work.
