Pics from our shopping trip

Just going to share a couple. My mom's computer doesn't have good editing software, so these are really grainy.

First is me, Shannon, Suzanne, Shelia and Jayme. The second is Suzanne lounging on the fabric Shannon, Suz and I bought. Yes, all those black bags are fabric The sad thing is Suz left about 600 yds behind to be shipped!

I'm so jealous! Looks like you guys had a great time!

AND I could *swear* that there's a bolt of fabric just behind you (Allison) that is the same as Suz's skirt. Am I imagining this?

Nope, you are right. Except hers is a heavier weight. I bought some of that one. The one that Shelia is hugging is the cord that I made my jacket out of. It was in the car.

Average price really depends. The cheapest yardage we bought that day was .80 (cotton velour), the most expensive was $6 (silk dupioni). Most was $1 - $2 though.

I had brought a list of things I wanted to buy and I found all of them

That first photo is one that could be used to show how sewing is for hip, young, beautiful women these days!

Oh, it looks like you had fun .
