Fraternal Twin of the other day's wool soaker s-n-s

I couldn't bear to throw away the scraps from the sweater, so I pieced them together at the crotch and found big enough scraps to squeeze out (just barely!) matching gussets. I dyed the FOE and aplix with some sort of sour green apple somethingorother kool-aid. As you can see, the hook took the color really well, but the loop is more of a yellow color.

I just had to include a side view, b/c I thought it was so cool how the rainbow stripes looked all lined up.

Oh, and it's the New Conceptions Quick Wrap.

Thanks! I just wung it basically. I used 2 packets of koolaid in roughly 4 cups hot water and another 1/2 cup or so of white vinegar. Mix it up well in a pyrex bowl, stick your FOE and aplix in, swish it around a bit and cover w/ plastic wrap. Microwave for 3 minutes or so. No exact science, I just made it up as I went along. I did it something like that a few years ago and the color stayed in the FOE really well (didn't try aplix that time).
