Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
Yeah sometimes. A lot of the Baby Lulu I didn't like, didn't even order any in the first batch.
And I ordered some of the fabric.com poplins after everyone raved about them and I got them today and well, ehhh they are ok. I only got one tho and it is kind of think fabric. I guess that is ok tho I got it to make Katie some capris for this summer.
I missed out on the new PRR and I'm not even too upset, it was cute , but nothing I HAD to have, ya know.

I'm always thrilled when people don't like what I like. More for me. Keeps the price down LOL.
I like anything that looks like, as a friend of mine (Shecki) called grandma's couch. I'm fine with it.
I don't think "BLECH", I do try to find something nice about it. Sometimes I get insight to people by what fabric they love.

yeah. i just don't get munki! lol but it is a very good thing i don't because i have enough to be obsessed about. right now i'm really digging french terry. just the solid kind. a little lycra is nice. my tastes are simple.
I forgot that I never liked the PRR mermaids or the pirates. I still can't figure out why people were wanting those sooo bad! Oha dn the Rome print too.

LOL, I'm right there with ya. I'm sure my stash would bore most of you to tears, it's mostly solids. I go through phases, solid velour, french terry, a random interlock print just to break the monotony. There are only a few PRR's I like and the Munki sushi (but once I actually got that and sewed with it I'd lost my desire to ever buy it again, lol...rolled like crazy, definitely not the quality I was hoping for).
I do buy cute wovens, I have a thing for one aisle at JA's, you know, with the African prints & the wild batiks. I'm still trying to figure out how one goes about designing their own fabric line...I know I have odd taste but I'm not alone
I know the masses will run me down but PRR Go Fish has never spoken to me. I can't figure out what people like about it. Also many of the Lulu prints, i don't get. To make it still on topic but not really
I cannot STAND reversible <sp> pants, batik, tie dye and peasant skirt/hippie skirts. But to each his own.
