Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
I accidentally bought these fabrics today! I was at this neat shop (that sillygoose once mentioned!) - it's a woman who was probably once like us and now she sells machines (janome and brother), fabric, has an embroidery business, and notions. For her higher-end machine buyers, she has a club and they have sleepovers and they do new things and sew sew sew. Looks fun!
Anyways, I couldn't help but pick up some fabrics but then driving home I felt guilty as I don't need them! So the only thing I'm keeping is the YUMMY cotton lycra french terry. Yum.
Anyways, these are all a little bit less than I paid for them so hopefully they'll sell! All 5.00 a yard
Green waffle sweater knit - 100% cotton - 2.5 yds (I can cut)- this stuff is different than waffle knit in that it has 2 different sides. One side looks like an interlock or ribknit, the other side is a waffle texture. Really neat. THinner than french terry - would make really nice shirts or pants.
Yellow duckies - tiny little duckies on this lightweight interlock knit - really cute - 1.5yds
Tools pique knit - this isn't washed yet and it isn't too soft but I imagine it will soften up in the wash. Got it from crosseyed toad... 1yd
Spring flowers knit - LOVE this one but I already had a piece from crosseyed toad LOL. But I loved how it washed up so I bought it when I was at the store... but don't need it. 1.5yds
Post to the list with interest. Please buy the piece except for the green which I can cut.
THanks!

man I get up for a few minutes to get Natalie some clean clothes and look what I missed.
If you ever happen to get back down to that store I would love some of those duckies.

BTW - it was an hour away and there wasn't much else I'd be interested in (especially since I shouldn't have been buying fabric in the first place!). But if I go again, I can definitely buy up more
