Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
Well, they're getting a little better. I've been tweaking the first shoe pattern Becky sold copies of. Finally got an almost decent pic of Ella's, she wore them today to Earth Day and got compliments Oh, the white spots are thread, she was attacking me while I sewed (see, not just mama covered in thread!).
And a pair for Mamasky's baby, Leah They're a little snug on E but L's feet are just a tad smaller so I think they'll fit well. Hers are uber soft glove leather that's not as thick as the suede on E's but she's not walking yet so really they're just sock covers, lol.
I think I need to try my dd's machine for shoe making though, the Janome wasn't so happy with me My first complaint about this machine though, could be user error.
They're sew-on. Actually they were iron-ons on a bib I got in a swap but they came off the first time I washed it. I saved them and really like how they look on the shoes.
This is 6 or 7 pairs I've made now, still pretty primitive, lol...I'll figure it out eventually.
Those are super super cute! Love the dragonfly applique, dragonflies are so cool.
Jodi, I think the pattern is from BeckysBoutique, she sold them here a while back. Pleaase correct me if I'm wrong Michelle.
