EvieJean keeps asking me to make her a blue dress and she loves turtles so this fabric was perfect. I started this last night and finished it this morning. Unfortunately I can't seem to make anything the right size and this fits Tierran beautifully and is a bit big on Evie. I asked if we could give this one to Tierran and I would make her another dress and she just looked at me as her eyes filled with tears. Poor baby. She is wearing it anyway. LOL

Lessons learned:
don't wing the size if you haven't measured the kid recently
appliqueing on textured knit is not fun
