My first Sew & Show - soft soled shoes

Here's my very first sew and show! Maybe I should introduce myself - I'm Sarah, stay at home mom to Daniel, age 3.5 and Amelia, who just turned 2. I started sewing after I couldn't find any pajama pants to fit over my son's huge overnight cloth diaper butt. Then on to cloth diapers, of course , simple kids clothing, slings and babycarriers, a little home dec, quilting, and then sewing just for myself after learning how to do fitting. Now I bought Rebecca's soft soled shoes patterns and have been going crazy sewing shoes!

I've become a little addicted to all the on-line sewing resources out there, so I may have seen some of you at the various yahoo group co-ops, or the slingsewing group I co-moderate, the Ottobre yahoo group, or patternreview.com. But I'm really enjoying this group of fellow mom sewists - glad to find you all!

Daniel think's he's a rock and roll star, so I tried a little applique with a sax and electric guitar for him:
