NB fleece liners/doublers question

A friend of mine is due in about 2 weeks, and she has a bunch of prefolds and Nikky covers she'll be using. I'd like to make her some fleece-topped doublers, but have no idea what kind of dimensions would work for a newborn. Her last 2 babies were in the 6-7 pound range. Can anyone help me with approximate dimensions?

Thanks in advance!

I'd go w/ about 9.5" X 3.5" (judging from the way a kissaluvs 0 lays when it is unstretched. I had some made by Danielle back when she had Weepants, and I'd say they were also about that size.
