Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
First up is some knit jammies. Last time I tried these I used a Simplicity pattern and they came out so bad. I almost threw them away. This time I used Kwik Sew and they came out perfect. Everything matched, there was no puckering and I never had to use the seam ripper. I used the last of this cotton knit that I had a ton of. Now that I know this pattern works, I will use up some of my nicer fabrics.
Here are some Skirts. The tank is from Goodwill. I made the Batik Skirt to match the tank and it looks really cute together. The whitish spot is from the flash. My model wouldn't change out of the jammies, so there they lay on the floor. The other skirt is from one of my organic t-shirts that I didn't wear. Very Comfy.
Last one... DD has begged and begged me for something out of this Strawberry shortcake fabric, so I whipped up some Capris. These are from a simplicity pattern.
The batik looks like a perfect match, it's beautiful. And recycling the organic tee is a great idea, I should go through my closet and re-create.
