Munki Munki Cardinal dress in progress.... help me decide!

I need to finish the neck and hem this still. I am thinking about a rolled hem in red and facings for the neck. I could add red to the neck too but that might over do it. How would you finish it?

eta: The sleeve trim is narrow like the bodice. You can just see the inner side of the back that is why it looks thick and weird.

I voted for red FOE and red rolled hem. I think a bit of red in those spots would look nice and not at all overdone. I really love that dress. Did you use a pattern or just make it up? I keep meaning to PM you about bathing suits. Are you planning to go to the Flap Happy outlet at some point or would you be making a special trip? I don't want to inconvenience you at all.

Hey Niri, I was there last week and the suits are $9/ea or 3 for $25. Sebastian is on school break so I might make it out that way this week. If you want me to grab some lmk sizes (they tend to run a bit small), one piece vs two piece and color/print preferences.

eta: They will have a big sale in June but I don't know if you want to wait that long.

Shannon,
How'd you put the red accent under the bodice? FOE, Piping?

I did piping with a bias strip cut from red linen and I used elastic drawcord for the filler but it was too thick so I pulled the cord out and then flatened the piping and topstitched the top edge of it down. How's that for a run on sentence?

Oh, I forgot to answer Niri's question about pattern. It was a tracing Marina did for me. I don't remember the pattern # or even company. Perhaps Marina can tell you.
