Blueberries and Biker Chic Sew and Show!

Kent spent last week in the hospital and I wasn't around to do any sew and shows. I'm going to try to put a couple in one post so I won't be cluttering up the board with my nonsense!

The below dress is from the Goodwill 99 cent sale. I loved it...blueberries on textured white fabric and great clear glass-looking buttons. I know they are not actually shaped like blueberries, but it's all I know to call them.

Into this with a slip made from a vintage white cotton dress. There is also a purse, not shown.

Okay, girls...this is SO totally NOT me. My mother won't believe I made this outfit. I have stretched my personality and creativity on this one, but I just adored the fabric for the top...baby chicks on motorcycles. Daisy LOVED it, but it is on the verge of too little and well...I think I love it, so maybe there IS a little me in it...but it's gotta go!

Goodwill Old Navy 99 cent skirt reworked into the below. Extra "leather" used to trim peasant shirt and to make head scarf.

Oh my gosh, look at that second outfit
I see a little resemblance to Ara & Simone there, LOL

Great stuff, you're so creative! I hope Kent's feeling better.

Oh, I *love*love*love* the biker chick! Outfit and little girl. Julia won't put Rio up for auction, don't suppose I could talk you into Daisy?

It's a *darned* good thing you don't do little boy's outfits...I'd be *so* broke!

Thank you so much! I can certainly see the resemblance, but would have never thought of it. I appreciate the encouraging words.
