ETA: Friday 3/25/05 - Since my pictures are always humungo and I can't figure out how to shrink them, I posted them all in my Ofoto album. You will need my email addy and password to view them: ekortering@yahoo.com/abigail. So far I have pictures of wovens, rayons, sherpas, sweatshirt fleece, suedecloth, and woolens. Will work on the knits later on this weekend. BTW, I am leaving on Monday for Michigan for 1.5 weeks so I won't be able to mail anything until I get back.

I think my $$$$ are very fair, but if you want to buy a bunch from me, I will give you a break. Anything over 3 yards I will cut if you buy in 1 yard increments unless I specified other (ie. part of a lot). Please POST with your selections along with your ZIPCODE so I can get you your total ASAP.

Sorry! I forgot to add the link to Ofoto: www.ofoto.com. Enter my email addy and my password.

Sorry for the long title

My name is Erin and I am a quilter. I walked into my sewing room last night and had a huge reality check. As much as I want to sew clothing for me, Abigail and Michael, I am not a seamstress. I am going to keep the following:

1 tote of wovens & knits for Abigail
1 tote of baby flannels for shower gifts and baby quilts
1 tote of wovens & knits for me
1 tote of fleece and microfleece for mama pads and ribbon blankets
All quilting cottons

The rest I am going to SELL, SELL, SELL! I have no idea how to list all my fabric without killing myself in the process. So for starters, post your ISO (please don't PM) and I will see what I have.

Oh, ya! You probably want to know what kind of fabrics will be up for sale:

KNITS - I try to buy as close to 80/20 as I can get
girl knits
boy knits
striped knits
solid knits
patterned knits
white french terry
white sherpa
turquoise french terry

WOVENS
stretch twills - solids and prints
corduroy - Gorgeous Liz stuff that I got at my fav Philly fabric store
flannel
rayon prints - great for mama skirts
suedecloth

NOTIONS
size labels
zippers
snap tape
stretch lace

PATTERNS
Mainly Big 3 - I will be selling these below cost b/c I want them OUT OF HERE. Just keeping KS, Burda, and NL.

I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE MONEY ON THESE SALES. I AM JUST TRYING TO RECOUP MY MONEY.

Slinking off to say good bye to all my pretty fabric,

Erin

ETA - I just got back from Wally World with new Titanium batteries for the digital camera. Once Abigail falls asleep I will start snapping and posting pictures.

I'd be interested in cute knits appropriate for diapers. I prefer to buy a lot from one person to save on shipping.

Also, interseting fabrics for kids' clothes ~ stretch fabrics are cool.

I am interested in unbleached killington flannel, solid 100% cotton knits (jersey or interlock), solid rib knit or ribbing, and wider wale corduroy. I would be ecstatic if you had the killington!!!

My fabric stash isn't quite that "refined". LOL I do have a bit of PRR.

Of course I am still going to "hang" with you, but I will just be SnS stuff that can be sewn with completely straight lines (ie. QUILTS). I never liked sewing clothing and I don't think I ever will. It is so much easier for me to get stuff at Walmart or the thrift store.

But I do have the goal to sew all of Abigail's Sunday outfits & PJs so that I don't let my sewing skills get rusty. Why did I choose those to sewing genres? First of all my friend always sews her daughters church dresses and they are beautiful. I always told myself if I ever have a little girl, I am going to sew her church dresses. PJ's because they are easy, peasy.
