Will someone hold my hand through a rolled hem on my NH 104D

I need wooly nylon for this right? Can I use it just in the looper or do I need it for the needles as well. For some reason I am not having much luck with the directions that came with the machine and I desperately need to make a rolled hem this weekend.

TIA

i'll try i have done a rolled hem with and without wooly and it worked both ways. change the plate, take off the left needle, and adjust the tension like the book says and adjust the 2 side things(can't remember the names right now) to where the book says and you should have it right.

if this doesn't work I can try to help you more. i just have one hand right now

If using wooly nylon it just goes in the looper. Glad i'm not the only one who finds the directions that came with the machine. I've only done it twice but if you need any more help i'll try.

Okay, I am an idiot!!!!!!

I unthreaded the left needle but didn't take it out. No wonder my stitches were really loopy and long.

Do you stretch the fabric or just let it feed itself?

Thanks a bunch for helping me out.

Going to try this tomorrow. My soon-to-be step-mil wants cloth napkins, so I'm making her some for her bday (this weekend).

I can use regular thread to do this, right? Not just WN?

TIA
