My tricks =O)
This is super easy but hard to explain.. lets try though..
I start with a long piece of fabric about 4 inches wide.. most of the time w/ regular fabric I have to sew long strips together so it looks like
========/=======/======== make sense?
then I fold the strip length wise in half and iron.
Now the sewing. The raw seamed edges are laid close to the raw quilt edges on the top. I machine sew all the way around. The cornersneed a sharp point and go around kwim?the binding on the corners shoud be sewn down on one side and look like a tent or /\ .
Flip the whole quilt over and sew the binding down by hand. Fold the corners in and sew those down as you go. You can do the squared look or the mitered look by how you fold.. I cant spain the fold on here, maybe I can get pics or something.
Anyway thats how I do it!
ok
