How do I sew a dress out of

a t-shirt top and fabric bottom. It looks to me like you cut the t-shirt then sew the gathered skirt part onto it. Is that right? They look so nice and cumfy.

You want to cut it off about 3 inches below the armpit seam and simply gather it about 2X's the width. If you gather to much width it makes it bulky. HTH. I have a picture I want to post of an outfit I made but for the life of me can't figure out how to upload it..I don't find an upload button anywhere when I go to type the post..
