making a beaded ribbon trim

I'll ty to explain this as best I can. If anyone needs more pictures or more detail let me know and I'll do a more step by step sew along

Thread your needle so you have a double thickness of thread knot it and anchor it to your ribbon. Looking at the wrong side of your ribbon put your needle through, thread your beads and then bring your needle back through the same spot, slip it under the first stitch to create a knot. The beads on my trim are 5/8 inch apart

My entire crafty life I have sauntered past the bead aisles without a care. After all, I don't make jewelry and have no interest in doing so ~ why would I need beads? You have single-handedly ruined that for me and for that I say and and mostly

awesome - thanks for these tutorials So helpful.

I was at walmart the other day (looking for beaded trim LOL) and wondered if I could just make it myself. Seems pretty time consuming, but definitely doable.

My puter is slow, but thanks also for doing the blind hem one
