Waldorf Doll Sew Along - Part 2

Here is part 2 - this is finishing the head and sewing the body:

Waldorf Sew Along Part 2

Part 3 will come over the weekend, it will be stuffing and assembling the body.

***I made a separate post, but thought I should post here as well. I forgot a step in the part 2 sew along. It is now step #14, it won't mess anything up to do it at the end if you're already completed the head part. Sorry!!

I am getting ready to do the face. I just wanted to let you know that I am really enjoying this sew along. Your directions and pictures are great. I haven't had any problems so far. Thanks!

Done!

I went ahead and stuffed it, I think my head is too small. Trying to decide if I'm going to make a new smaller body or a bigger head

Or just be a little out of porportion.

hmmmm

Thanks mama!!!!!!!!!! I'm having sooo much fun while DH is away for the week!

Meg, it really isn't much of a big deal if it's just a little smaller - they still come out looking just fine.

thanks!

I went ahead and made the doll body a bit smaller--it looked way too freaky and I didn't want my first to be a Frankenstien doll LOL!!!

I just trimmed and re sewed it, it looks much better now.

You know what really sucks? Getting the doll head all done, except for the eyes and mouth, because you left your embrodery floss in your Moms car *Sigh* Other than that Im totally Impressed with myself It only took me 2 hours to get to that point!

I developed a horrible headache, and em came down with the fastest illness I've ever seen. She went from sneezing to coughing, to totally congested and a fever of 102 in an hour - really weird. Anyway, so I'm running late again, will post it tomorrow.
