I have some stockinette for $1.50/yd to sell.

Are you talking about nude swimwear? That is going to be hard, especially if you haven't sewn before. It's very slippery. I would recommend using a t shirt type material, you can tea dye white and use it.

cotton/hemp jersey...

someone mentioned using this for doll skin. I have several large scraps if anyone is interested. No charge, of course! PM me if you need it for your doll!

And Stephanie - remind me how much mohair is needed for a 13" doll. I have 2 "balls" and one "cone" from the co-op we did. It ends up I need to make 6 or 7 13" dolls! I hope I have enough Maybe with a simple hairstyle - and one that isn't multi-styling.

Jolene - are you here??

Stockinette: If you do paypal, I can get it in the mail tomorrow, should be there by the end of the week. I'm starting the sew along next Monday.

Stockinette is $1.50/yd
1 yd is .50 for shipping
2 yds is $1.00 for shipping

Paypal is purplestork@hotmail.com

mohair for wig: you need about 50-60 gms for the styles I'll be showing you. You need about 100 gms for a multistyle wig.

Hi Stephanie,

I just e-mailed you to say that I'd like a couple yards of the stockinette... I love the idea of making dolls for my daughters for Christmas! I'm excited about doing this.

Thanks!

Yeah, I want to join!

I just recently borrowed a pattern and would love to do this as a sew-along. And I really want to learn how to do crocheted wigs. I did my last doll sewing through the head (with bouclez yarn) and it was quite a pain!
