bumping w/ model pic in op

Thanks everyone. I have several more skirts for her in my head and I'll take pictures when I sew them up and show them (assuming they turn out ok LOL). Tierran only wants to wear skirts- not the bunch of dresses I recently made... sigh...

Niri, thanks so much for the fabric. She it and was excited to see they are playing twister for one of the party games. Hey maybe we can auction off the last yard and it'll bring in enough to pay your plane ticket out here.

I would probably take off about 1-1.5" around (1/2 - 3/4" from each front section) and maybe 1-2" in length.
How I figured size:
I measured from her waist to knee added casing and hem allowance - gave me the height of the rectangle.
Then I measured around her butt from one side to the other- it was 13" so I added ease for the elastic to gather and decided that section would be 16". Then from side to side around front was 10" so I did 9" for each panel and you loose a bit with finishing the edge- that way they don't wrap ALL the way to the side. So the total length was 9 + 16 + 9 = 34 The elastic length was based on her back waist measurement from side to side which was ~11" and then subtract a bit so I did 9.5"
Hope that helps figure out other sizes.
