My goal was to decimate my cord scrap basket, and I did make a dent...but not as big a dent as I would have liked. Anyway, 1 pair is for Sam and the other 2 pairs are heading for the market board. The body of the pants is wide wale hemp/cotton cord that I tea-dyed. The inside of the side panels is backed in coordinating batik cotton scraps so there aren't a billion serged seams against the skin. Here are his that I made him last year that now no longer fit:
Sam's new pants, with sides folded inward so you can see the panels better:
They won't fit him. I made Sam's pair to fit him, but the two extra that I made are XS (4/5). And I used up all the big pieces of my hemp cord. Let me look around here and see what else I can use...I'm sorry these are too small.
I did post them FS on the market board, though - $25 priority postage paid.

No biggie!!! Guess I should really get on the ball and use up this huge stash of cord I have and make some myself! *lol*
Great idea for cord scraps, Tara! I will have to think about whether I want to take the time to create patchy-cord-panels for later projects... or whether I should just send all my cord scraps to you!
