If I had a girl, I would make skirts out of the body material -- there is plenty left. I think that if you have enough coordinating sweaters, you could make skirts with coordinating legging attached -- solid skirt with striped leggings.. or floral skirt with solid leggings under. It would probably just be a matter of choosing a thinner sweater for the legs so they wouldn't be incredibly bulky.

Also, you could probably make child-sized scarves, hats, and mittens. In fact, I think I'll try that with the leftovers from my last 2 sweaters.


I am going to take some pants and stick one leg inside the other. I keep trying to picture it and it's not working.

I make another pair of pants from the body, 2 pair from one sweater. I just use my ksft pattern piece as a guide and line up the hem with the hem of the sweater
