I Tunes/ I pod help :o)

I have been hosting some dance parties at my house over the past year and hate when there is a huge lag in between songs!
When I listen to my I tunes music on the computer the songs run right into one another... no lag. but as soon as I burn them to my I pod nano and hook it up to my receiver there is a 5- 10 sec lag between songs.
Any way to fix this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Kerrie )

is it b/c you have them on shuffle? have you tried playing them right through a playlist?

Somewhere, I am pretty sure there is a setting to increase or decrease the lag between the songs. I can't really remember where, though, but I am sure you could figure it out with your manual. I used to have it set on fade into each other, but something got reset and now there is like a 3 second gap, and I have been too lazy to go back and figure out the settings, lol.

I do play them right through a play list.
I have been looking for a setting on my I pod with no luck. Thank you so much for your quick replies!

I Don't think my I Pod came with much of a manual. I'll have to check.
I'm usually pretty good about figuring this stuff out on my own.
any help would be greatly appreciated. )

I Tunes- I pod Help

Yes!! That worked! Thank you sooooooo much )

I also found by right clicking on the song and going to options, you can manually
adjust the time of the song. So if it has an unusually long intro or ending you can cut it.

Thanks again )
