I can get get in to SEE my email in outlook, but if I click on anything, to read, delete or reply, it locks up. I've ended the session and restarted it multiple times. I've rebooted the pc.
I have to use task manager to close it or any word documents. Any way to fix this???
Everything else on the pc is working fine
The standard things to start with would be to clear your internet cache, delete temp files (seach your harddrive for *.tmp and delete everything that comes up), run windows update, scan with adaware or similar software.
If that doesn't fix it then there are other options.
Oh, you can also trying to go to "tools -> options" in Outlook. Click on the "mail format" tab and uncheck "use word as my email editor" and select plain text as your email format.
Thanks. I'm not very good with computers, so I'll wait til my hubby gets home. He works with computers for a living and will be home in 20 minutes. I was just hoping to be done with email by then....lol
