I accidentally deleted almost all the disneyland pictures. Theres no way to retreive them

I have like 20 shots from the first morning and thats it.
The Disney princess character breakfast pictures are gone. All the mickey and minnie mouse pictures are gone.

Theres some video - but the battery died before the princess dinner.

Our first vacation and trip to disney in 9 years - and I've deleted the pictures.

they're gone. I deleted them off the cards and somehow I replaced the first set of pictures on the hard drive with the second set of pictures. Erasing the first set off the hard drive.

Its all gone

I've been crying for ten minutes.

The trip was amazing, the memories are wonderful - but I can't believe I lost all the pictures.

I'm so angry with myself

Hi Barb! that is awful. can you be a little bit more specific. dh is wondering if there is a way to find them.

depending on how much $ they are worth to you, if you call data recovery guys, they may be able to get them back for you. nothing on a computer is really ever gone (with rare exceptions) if you are willing to pay to get it back.

however, that said,

i am so sorry!! i'd be crying to.

I tried to save the second set of pictures to the same folder

It asked me if i wanted to replace them and I think I hit yes and it saved the second set over the first set.

they're definetly deleted off the memory cards

I would PAY BIG to get these back.

I will call my computer guys tomorrow but if i was saving them off the memory card and into the hard drive and replaced one set with the other aren't they gone??

i would def. call, b/c i think they can do something to get them back. ((hugs))that sucks

Now the plug

We use to loose our digital photos all the time. I do not have pictures from Miguel's 1st Christmas. Creative Memories has a new computer program that makes certain you have backups and vaults and stuff of photos. It even keeps track of what hasnt been printed.

Looks like $50 gets me almost all of them back. About a dozen are "corrupt" and it won't let me retrieve. Am still working on it tho

nods - i was able to get alot of them back. Still some are corrupt and i emailed the folks cuz for $50 i thought i'd get more that that back.

but i'm still alot happier now. thanks mamas

Can you do a system restore to back before you overwrote the first set of pics? Maybe you can still get the corrupted ones back.
