eye roll Techie help with email! Anyone have computer smarts??

I know this won't get seen on thje teck board and with all the smart mamas around here I thought I would try here...

I went to to open my Outlook Express and am getting a message that reads:

OE could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded

Which is Greek to me. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

okay, try this:

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/t1070326442

"The best thing you can do in the circumstances is to reinstall it. To do that, navigate to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer. You'll find a file in there called ie5setup.exe. Choose the "Custom" installation and only checkmark Outlook Express. "

Yikes! Don't call Microsoft... there must be a better option.

Try running Windows update. Open Internet Explorer and from the Tools menu select Windows Update.

Good for you! Aren't you glad you didn't sit on hold on Microsoft all afternoon?
