Can I brag?

Ha! I'm just so happy I finished these pants for my son. I started them in the spring, but then didn't have the right size needles for the ankle ribbing, and didn't touch them again until earlier this week. I was sooo glad to have finally gotten the needles, and back to these pants I just knit, knit, knit!!

Looky!!! These are the Little Turtle Knits longies pattern. I love them.
(sorry I don't know how to make the pix smaller)

Thanks!

It wasn't too hard learning. I used Melanie Falik's Kids Knitting book to teach myself, then many hours of practice!! There are some good online sites with video tutorials I used occasionally when I'd get stuck on something.

Give it a try, and good luck!

I'm trying to learn, but I think I put more heart into crochet. I've only been practicing here and there, but I do have two sets of needles. Have to keep them put up b/c dd thinks they're swords.... and she's dangerous with a sword!
I did manage a dishcloth though. Once. Recently! I have more crochet to finish, and then I want to *really* learn knitting. I'm absolutely dying to make myself a sweater (lofty expectations, huh?)!!

You know, that Noro yarn is fabulous! I keep putting those pants on him just so I can cuddle them!

I'm going to have to get more and make myself a thick scarf.
