KNS - inspired by Jessica_momof6

The yarn is Paton's SWS, which stands for Soy Wool Stripes; I'm felting it today, so I have high hopes... I LOVE the colors.

It was pretty easy, too, only the knit stitch, and you just keep going around and around, a couple of decreases here and there, and some icord (which is really just more knit stitch). I think the yarn really makes the bag, it's felting in the washer right now (crossing fingers).

I love those colors! I love soy/wool blend yarns. Were you able to get the Paton's SWS locally?

Oh, that is very cute. I love those colors.

I missed that blend at Michaels. I'll have to go back and look for it.

The pattern is at Magknits, MagKnits, your friendly online knitting magazine and it's called "sophie"

The felted picture doesn't do it justice; it's actually very stiff and holds its shape incredibly well. It stand up by itself I love it SO much! I plan to get two more skeins of SWS in the "earth" color for fall.

About SWS; I think I paid 4.99 a skein; the color is "natural geranium" and it doesn't look like it matches in the store. When I picked up two skeins, they looked like different colors, same dye lot and all; but it all does work out in the end.
