Bernats Handicrafter Yarn?

I loved the colors so I picked up two huge spools of this cotton yarn.
Now I am wondering if that was so smart, a variegated yarn for a toddler tee or sweater? Suggestions, comments on this yarn?

Thanks!!

I love cotton yarn but most people do not like knitting with it. It has little stretch, shrinks and will not hold shape after repeated washings. However, you can use it in any pattern calling for worsted weight yarn where stretch is not an issue. I have made tank tops (many), wash clothes, dishrags, bunnies, gnomes, etc.
