Talking My first K&S

Not much for the style, but it was an excellent way to practice learning to knit, purl, as well as learning to combo stitches: stockinette and double ribbing. Yah for me. Yarn is what came in the Learn To Knit Kit which was Lion Brand Acrylic (very scratchy).

Now I am working on a project of my own desire and that is a soft and fluffy scarf for Erica with just one stitch. I wanted to teach myself so I would have something to do on the plane next week to CA. I plan to start a sweater while for Alison there too.

Thanks for looking.

That is a good practice piece--lots of different stitches. I'm so chicken, I stick to pretty easy things. LOL.

Can't wait to see your other KnSs.

I like that blue color.

Just wondering? Are they letting knitting needles on airplanes again? I remember in one yahoo group I was in a while back they weren't, but this was a long time ago, like 18 months or so.....

They came out nice.

Oh and pretty sure they're allowing them again. They just recently revised the rules to focus more on more high risk items.

Oh, that's good. Not that I ever have time to knit when I am flying with my twins- but you never know.....
