More baby sweaters

Both are from Debbie Bliss The Baby Knits book.

This first is a wrap kimono that I changed a tiny bit- it was supposed to have ties & tie in the back, but that wouldn't be comfy for a tiny baby so I added buttons on the front instead. Yarn is knitpicks merino style taht I hand dyed, it is the softest stuff ever!! Shown here with footed leggings to match.

Second is Hand dyed Wool/baby alpaca blend. I love the colors on this yarn- it sucked up the dye so well! Super soft, and supposed to be super warm as well. I have enough left over for pants & a hat to go with.

Wow, those are both gorgeous. I just love the colors, especially the wool/alpaca...wow! What yarn is that?

And gosh, I want to paint/dye yarn. LOL. Maybe when you're up for it, you can post a little on the process/where you get the dyes, to just get me started? I love variegated colorways and they don't seem to have a whole lot of them available...the knitpicks merino and WOTA are so cheap, it's so tempting....

I use procion dyes with vinegar to set. If you google dyeing wool yarn you will get tons of info, that's how I got started! Also, woolywonder forums have a ton of resources!
