crochet-n-knit-n-show...placemats and napkins

I'm on such a home decor roll! It's amazing what some newly painted walls will inspire!!

Anyway, I'm really happy with how these turned out.

The placemats:

1 1/2" (-ish) strips of fabric (LOTS of them!)
P hook

Ch 20. Sc in 2nd Ch and in each chain across. *Ch1 at end of row. Next row sc in each sc* for 27 rows.

The napkins: (Thanks for the idea, Michelle!! )

kitchen cotton yarn
size 10 needles

Cast on 45

knit each row until there are 33 ridges

And, yeah, I know I'm a dork for sharing the patterns but I just get giddy when I make something I like lol!

I only have enough woven fabric left in the house (and it's already ripped into strips) to make a little doormat for the backdoor in the dining room. I can't believe I've used my entire stash of wovens!

Maybe I need to take up crocheting again. I could use some place mats and have lots of fabric around. I think I like sewing better. Hmm.

They look great Danielle. Aren't napkins fun? They are so functional.
