Felting with beads knitting in?

I am knitting a purse, kinda a combination between a booga bag and another pattern I found. (I can't just follow one pattern for some reason.) Anyway, I am thinking about adding some beads in the knitting. But, I am planning on felting it. So, I am thinking the beading might not work. Any experience?

I don't think it would be a problem as long as the beads can withstand the washing. Maybe do a small test square.
How do you knit beads in anyway? Sounds like something I might need to try.

From what I have read, you put the beads on the yarn prior to beginning your project and you bring one up into a stitch when you want one there.

I love your sig. Sam and I are often side by side doing the same thing. It is so relaxing to me. I would enjoy it more if my dryer had the glass. But nope.

I think it'll be fine, just make sure you put the item in a pillowase or something else to protect the beads from smashing against the side of your washer drum and breaking!
