K&F&S: Wee Felt Mocs & Felted Pilots Cap - aka: sewing mamas keep having babies!

The Sewing Mamas are having babies like crazy! Yikes. I didn't feel like sewing anything, so instead, I knitted and felted some gifts.

First up is a loooooooong overdue gift. I used the Fiber Craft Pilot cap pattern and Barlett yarn in Garnet/Midnight Acadian Tweed.

Here is my before model:

Sigh, yes, I married him.

All felted! Modeled by the Spooky Head:

Next up, a pair of wee felted mocs. They knitted pretty quickly. I used Peace Fleece in some unknown color. I got the yarn from CheekyBabies Shannon. The pair only took half a skein.

They are really the same size, it's the perspective that throws it off.

Both yarns were rather stubborn to felt. Guess I'm used to Lambs Pride, it felts so quickly. Both the mocs and the piolet cap took a few hours!

I'm off to felt another bowl. Yeah, yeah, I know I said I needed a break from them, but obviously, I have no self control!
