eye roll dumb pattern question from the over-anaylzer lol

when a pattern says:

Quote:
Work same as Back until piece measures 13½ (14½, 15½, 16½)"; 22 (23½, 25, 25½, 27, 28½)" from beg, ending with a WS row.
does that mean when you finish a wrong side row, a purl row, stop?

or does it mean when you finish a knit row and turn your work, getting ready to begin a wrong side row, stop.

I *think* it's the first way but the more I think about it trying to be absolutely sure (before I go and start neck shaping and join the front of this sweater to the back)...well, I'm confusing myself. I'm getting all in touch with my self doubt here. Help appreciated thanks!

~nak~

If you already haven't figured it out, you work to the end of the wrong side (purl sid) row. That was the next section begins on the right side.

I do this too if it makes you feel any better.

hth!

thanks I gave up thinking about it last night and just went to bed. lol. I was trying to wrap my brain around what would happen if I did the neck shaping and joining both ways. But since I've never done this before I couldn't project that far without making my brain really hurt. It seemed so much easier to just ask

ok, I've totally got it now. I worked out the rest of the sweater on paper and I totally see how it goes together. WHEW! Not scared anymore

Excellent! Looking forward to seeing it!

And fwiw, I'm more likely to ask for an answer than search for it 9 times out of 10 because 1. I don't always have the time to search b. There's usually someone on who can answer quickly...faster than I can search. & 3. It gives me a little dialog in my kiddo filled day.
