Have you tried ribbon yarn yet?

It says you knit with it but I could not knit with it, it was incredibly difficult, but crochet goes very smoothly, although I liked the look of the knit better. I think it's going to take about 4 rolls to make a scarf.

Hmmm...I've done it quite a few times and never thought it was any different than "regular" yarn. What did you have troubles with?

It kept splittling, like the needle would polk through half the width of the ribbon, and it constantly twirls and I have to keep untwirling it. What a pain.

Hmmm...what's the width of the ribbon you're using. I think the thickest I ever used was about 1/2" and I didn't ever untwist it if it got twisted and it still looked fine. Maybe try a thinner ribbon and then you won't stick your needle through it as easily?

I just saw this yesterday

A kit for ribbon yarn bags, scarves, hats, etc...

I had never seen it for knitting before. I know in crochet you can use fiber (cloth) to make rugs and such but never tried wearables.
