I bought a needle organizer...its *beautiful*...

I bought this from a lady that makes them on ebay. A friend suggested that I make one, but I just haven't had time.

Here is a link:

Its beautiful. Not a stitch out of place. Perfect! The lady's ebay username is: frizzlechick

I am so happy to have a home for my knitting needles rather than just sitting at the bottom of my knitting bag.

It is beautiful!! I have been eyeing the ones over at The Organized Knitter but I cant make myself pay those prices knowing I could make my own if I just had the time or inclination... (running off to look on ebay )

Wow, Lisa! those are expensive. I would have put a direct link in my post, but those long ebay links don't always work for me.

Thanks!

I finally got around to making one of those. I made the lap sized one. I keep meaning to post a picture here. Maybe tomorrow. (It turned out really nice. I really really love it.)

For those who sew, I did a sew a long for one I made. Here it is:

I have made more since and also left off the flap for the notions pockets and just done one for needles. I did put a flap over the top of the needle pocket to hold them in the bag.

Kristin ~ thank you for posting these instructions. I probably should have looked for some instrux.

You did a great job on your sew along and your case came out very nicely!

I didn't realize you are a knitter, too. Or I forgot.

I picked it up again over the summer. I learned as a child and hadn't done it in years. And back then, my mom would cast on and bind off for me.

Both my mom and MIL have been knitting up a storm the last few years and it inspired me to start up again. Plus, I love the fact that it's portable--unlike most of my sewing.
