preemie hat k&s

I really want to put my hobby to good use this year, so I chose two "causes" to donate to. One being the Ships Project, sending hats to deployed service members, and Two being items for preemies and bereaved parents who go home from the hospital with empty arms and heavy hearts.

I finished this today. Its so cute and tiny. Thats a standard maxilock cone of thread by it. Once I get some different yarn, I want to make some even smaller.

Wow, that IS tiny! Good for you, donating to charities. I've just signed up to the Ships project, and will start the hats pretty soon. My LYS is a drop off for cancer hats, so I'm going to do that too.

Awsome job!

This is a wonderful idea. My nephew was born at 1.5 lbs. They used women's pantiliners for diapers and they were too big for him.

That's so sweet .

I still have the hats my twins got in the NICU, they are saved away in a little box.
