Talking OK why didn't anyone tell me felting stuff was so fun?

LOL, my head is spinning with ideas right now.

I just finished a felted purse and had a blast. I am going to send it as a present to my Aunt. This time I decided to "Cheat" and get a wool sweater from the resale shop. 3 bucks later, I ended up with this purse. I felted another sweater and used some of it to make the flowers that I sewed on. I made a cord and a felt loop for a closure.

Looking inside, I made a little cord with a snap on it to hold keys. There is also an inside pocket.

The inside pocket that I embroidered (My aunt is my Godmother). I am not a very good stitcher, (My mom is amazing-does japanese silk stuff so she is my idol) but for me this is pretty even LOL

I can't wait to make one for myself. I like the idea of recycling the wool and love how fast this goes.

Thanks for inspiring me Amity knitters, I am totally digging all the ideas I get here

I love it! Welcome to your latest addiction! Never again will you look at a sad felted old sweater with pity again... Its joy and inspiration from this day forward!

I have been playing with all kinds of ideas for embellishments lately - the felted flowers are one of the things I have been thinking about doing. I like the colors and detail work on yours.

Oh Yah!!!!!

I've been looking for a sad, old wool sweater to make my old cat a nice bed. So far, no luck in the second hand shops, but I'm still searching!

The purse is great!!! Very creative. Welcome to a new obsession!!!
