Hey felters, I have a question?

Can you adhere two felted pieces of wool with a felting needle? Or is it too hard to get the fibers to mesh?

I just got some felting needles and have felted peices, but no wool (don't know the name of the loose wool you can felt with felting needles )

Thanks, Erika

If you have two 100% wool pieces that are not extremely solidly felted then you should be able to felt them together. If they are thick, you might have trouble getting your needle through without it breaking, but if you work slowly and be sure to keep a straight line it can work. If they are flat pieces, then it should be pretty easy.

I do a lot of combination wet and needle felt work and it really makes for a strong piece when done right.
