My first hat for adults..
my mother wanted a rolled brim hat. she doesn't have circs so I told her I would make this one for her . I really enjoyed making it and have one started for myself. I just really dislike using DPNs. I had to use them towards the end and I kept dropping stitches
Anyway, the pics are in my blog, posted in my sig line.
I used to hate DPNs, but I have grown to love them... especially making bunches of Lissa's wonderful knitted food for presents this year. I love love love the shapes you can make with them!
Great job! I used to think I hated dpns...that was before I had ever tried them though. lol Once I actually tried them, I fell in love! It's so much quicker than magic looping and I'm all about quickies!

I really hate DPN's too....what's this about rotating every 5 rows?
Sometimes if you knit too losely in between DPNs, you get something called a "ladder" whre the stitches are really loose all the way down the olumn (wehre you go fro one DPN to the next).
One way people combat this (including me) is to rotate stitches every couple of rows so that the stress point between DPNs gets shifted every so often , thereby relieving you of the unwanted ladder effect.
