Need to learn how

I need to learn how to Cast On. I think that is what it is called. I want to make a scarf with some wool yarn. Something knobby like with a big stitch.

What a great resource! Is it part of a larger site to see more stitches being performed?

The easiest one, IMO is the knit cast-on, which my LYS taught me.
