C&S - Wool longies - updated with pattern and my changes to it

It took me about 3 days to finish these, I just finished them up a little while ago and I love them. They are the only pants that don't come down over his feet when he crawls. I've got to make a few more pairs of these, lol.

They are made from fisherman's wool and I'm going to dip dye them tonight or tomorrow, I picked up some koolaid yesterday. I used that pattern I posted from crochetville, but I added extra length and at the leg ribbing I realized she didn't put the whole instructions, so I had to figure it out on my own, lol.

I'm very proud of myself, lol, it's the first time I actually figured out a somewhat complex pattern, lol. They were fairly easy to crochet, though I'd never done crochet ribbing before, it was neat to learn how to do it.

They look great! I can't wait to see the after pic. What pattern did you use? Or is it your own pattern?

Baby Longies Pattern

Okay and my changes are because my baby is in 18 months clothing, I needed longer pants and he's very long waisted.

Changes:

-I added a row to the body so instead of 12 rows, I did 13.
-I added a row to each leg so it went to 11 rows for the first part and then I added an extra row for the decreasing, so I decreased for 2 rows and ended up with a total of 13 rows
-then for the leg ribbing, either I'm stupid, or she only put in 4 rows and you're doing this around the entire leg, so you need a lot more rows, lol. So this is what her instructions and below it I'll put what I did:

Quote:
LEG RIBBING:
Change to H hook

Row 1: ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 4 chs. sl st in same space as chain, sl st in next st.

Row 2: Turn (do not ch) sk sl sts, sc in back loop only of next 4 sts. ch 1 turn

Row 3: sc in back loops only of next 4 sts, sl st in next 2 sts,
Row 4: turn, sc in back loop only of next 4 scs. fasten off and weave in ends
I did Row 1, then I did Row 2 for every "even" row and did Row 3 for every "odd" row until I was down to the last row and then did Row 4. It worked out just fine.
