Dh is printing stuff up for me..
so what patterns do you have bookmarked that you want to try but haven't gotten to yet? Or do you have a pattern that you did try and you loved ? I'm looking for hats, mittens, slippers, sweaters that I can have him print off and put in my knitting patterns binder. I want to fill that thing up this weekend!
BTW, it starts with one notebook... then it becomes a sock notebook, a hats/scarves/mittens notebook, a sweater notebook... a bag notebook... you get the picture!

OH, that's a cool bag. I just wanted to add an observation. It calls for Noro Kureyon yarn. It's a really lovely yarn, but it's a bit stubborn about felting. If you like a nice, thickly felted product, you might want to find a different yarn. Bummer, cause I really love the Noro Kureyon colors.

wow!
thanks for all the great links, ladies! Also the tips about the yarn. It helps to know what will felt up nicely and what will not. Tami has assured me that the Cascade yarn felts up beautifully. I have a few hanks here that I purchased from her and I might just get up the nerve to actually use it now that I have all this inspiration.
Thanks again!
I meant to mention this about the booga bag.... there was an online knitalong for that bag in the past year. I forget exactly when (and of course I can't find the site- which is the purpose of this post!) but if anyone else happened to save it and could share it, there are some incredible and very diverse booga pics there!!!! Talk about inspiration!
Noro felts fine for me- at least I like the end result. But you are right that is more stubborn than some. It takes an extra cycle or two for my stuff... but I like it!
Mar-- do it with that cascade! If I have enough of the other stuff I was telling you about, maybe I will, too!
ask and ye shall get lol http://boogaj.typepad.com/photos/kur...ery/index.html
the link is on her blog page. I spend more time reading blogs then I do knitting I made one like the first photo in the second row up from the bottom. I washed it 4 or 5 times. Still haven't attached the straps. It does not felt up stiff, it is more soft and bendable. A very nice yarn to work with. I made a pair of socks with the left overs I had and the strips matched up pretty well with out to much effort on my part.

Yay! Thank you so much! That's it! I love looking at that page-- the colors are so inspiring. I'm a huge noro fan anyway. Thank you !!! The colors are the one like your's are gorgeous...and keep felting it! That's my best suggestion.. it will do it.
I know what you mean about blogs. They can totally suck you in! Way better than *anything* on tv! LOL!
Anise, that top is a real stunner! What a wonderful reward!
Oh it's done, I just haven't attached the handles lol I finished it last spring and I was planning on giving it to my Mom for her birthday but I liked it too much when we moved the handle got put in a box and I still haven't found it. Does the cascade felt like noro? The only other yarn I have felted has been the lion brand fisherman which is much stiffer.
