Gorgeous mama! It's awsome when they love it too. My little guy just turned one, so there's no sweater in the world he'd be happy to wear and he doesn't know anything about being purposely sweet to mama. But I have been trying to work out my own pattern for felted shoes (kinda nice b/c they are so small, iykwim) and when I finally came up with a design that worked, I put it on his foot (only made one at a time) wet out of the washer to mold it to his foot and he would not take it off. It entertained him for a good hour. lol Then last night I tried it on him dry and he loved it again -- insisted on wearing his one purple shoe to the grocery store. lol I am so tickled by it, though I suspect that he would love any shoe I put on him at this point. If I ever manage to complete the second one, it will be his first pair.
Are you going to make your sweater from theresa's pattern, too? An adult sweater is a big undertaking. I am actually planning two adult sweaters which I hope to finish by january for a friends wedding gift, but I am scared (should finish the baby one first to get a little confidence). I wouldn't even think of such a big project, but this friend deserves something really special.
And as for sewing, if I am intimidated by sweaters, I am paralyzed by sewing! Just check out my lame sewing progress. lol
